How it started
In January 2020, April's best friend asked her to coordinate her wedding. She said yes — and never looked back.
After years as a corporate facilities coordinator, April brought her Type-A precision to that first wedding and earned rave reviews from every vendor in the room. April Hertz Coordination Services opened in Hudsonville by the end of the month. Despite launching into a pandemic, she coordinated thirteen weddings that first year — and the portfolio has grown every year since, to more than 150 weddings across Grand Rapids and West Michigan.
Today April leads a dedicated team made up largely of former brides — women who trusted her with their own day and loved it so much they joined the studio to give other couples the same.
